In summer 1935 the railway variant of BA-3 was tested...The production of BA-3 was started in 1934. The armored body was installed on chassis of the GAZ-AAA truck. Its arms consist of 45mm gun and two 7,62mm machine-guns. These vehicles fought in Spain, Mongolia, Finland and other countries. In summer 1935 the railway variant of BA-3 was tested. In total 168 vehicles were produced.
