Manufacturing of armored troop-carrier BTR-152K was launched in 1959. It is equipped with control system of air pressure in tires, having internal supply. It was the first armored troop-carrier that had the wheels with controlled pressure. BTR-152K is intended for transportation and defence of 13 paratroopers and crew from machine-gun fire and shell-splinters.
