Manufacturing of armored vehicle BA-6 was launched in 1935 that appeared BA-3...Manufacturing of armored vehicle BA-6 was launched in 1935 that appeared BA-3. The armored body was installed on chassis of the GAZ-AAA truck. It was equipped with a tank turret, with the armor thickness reduced to 9 mm. The spare wheels were installed along the sides vertically on the rotating bases. Carburetor 4-cylinder engine in 40 hp is located in the frontal part of armored frame. Its arms consist of 45mm gun and 2x7.62mm machine guns. The ammunition supply consist of 60 rounds and 3276 cartridges. The machine in weight of 5.12 tons had the maximal speed 43km/h. The armored vehicle has four crew-members, a commander, a gun layer, a loader and a driver. In total were manufactured 386 machines. The BA-6 fought in Spain, in Mongolia, in Finland and also during the World War II in 1939-1945.
